Campus of the University of Vienna
The 96,000 m² site of the former General Hospital became the property of the University of Vienna in 1988 through a donation by the City of Vienna and was opened up by numerous new access points and passageways. Today, the University of Vienna campus is not only a place of study and work, but also a popular green oasis for those seeking relaxation and a venue for congresses, exhibitions, festivals, sporting events, and much more.

Lecture Room of the Department of Near Eastern Studies
Directions:
Enter the campus of the University of Vienna and go to courtyard 4. Enter the department building through the wooden door marked by the sign “4.1 Institut für Orientalistik”. Go up the stairs and follow the signs to the lecture room.

The campus of the University of Vienna consists of 10 courtyards and hosts 15 departments. Access is possible from all sides (Spitalgasse and Alserstraße are recommended when navigating to the Department of Near Eastern Studies).
